911s on Velvia 50. Still love these old aircooled Porsches. Top is a 911SC, bottom is a 3.2 Carrera. Leicas aren’t the only things the Germans got right.

Yesterday a good friend of mine died because of cancer. So I'm glad I can share a picture I took 6 years ago. Leica MP & 35mm lens loaded with T-Max 100.

Sorry to hear of her passing.  A nice photo to go along with your memories.

Several months ago I decided to make a change after using my last few rolls of TMax 400. I had tried Delta 400, Double X and a few others but decided to go with Tri-X. When I was first learning about photography, I used a lot of Tri-X, then came the T grain films and TMax was it. I decided not only to use Tri-X as my only film but also to develop it in Rodinal. It's been a learning process and here are the latest testers. M4, Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35 1.4 SC V2, 010 filter, Adox Rodinal 50:1:

Thank you for sharing these. Years ago, I always used Tri-X (with D76) as my only BW film. I never tried Rodinal (1:50) until last year and I am delighted with it. So, maybe now is the time for a change…hmmm.

You have now inspired me to return to Tri-X and see where I go with it! 👍
