gwpics Posted February 28, 2018 Share #1 Posted February 28, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is from my archives for the year 2000. I was on a trip to the US to lecture to a couple of photographic colleges and stopped off at a re-enactment village in Bethpage, Long Island where I photographed just 2 frames of this guy by natural light. The great fun of American re-enactment sites is that they are very serious, and he claimed that he had heard about photography but didn't realise cameras had become so small. I photographed by natural window light using a Leica M6 and 50mm Summicron f2 (I think!). The film was Kodak T400CN (C41 process) which I had taken so I could get it processed as I went and minimise the chances of fogging in airport x-ray machines. I have just rediscovered this after 17+ years, so I hope you like it. Gerry Welcome, dear visitor!
