good ones, Stuart.  The fairytale atmosphere surrounded by the great metropolis and group of great photography friends made it a magical morning, indeed.  One complaint of you photo of my is that I look so SHORT!  I think you and your 28mm should have swung around and shot me in front of Steve LOL

Thanks, David. I am not huge in real life; but I am taller than Steve!! LOL

Adam, you are not telling me the photograph lies! Surely not. We all know a photograph is truth... :)

I look at your street, and am infatuated, much to my disgust...same as reality TV programs; so many ghastly wannabes. I can't understand myself...I put it down to a "human condition".

All best and keep up the blizzard pictures...

Thanks, David.  My style is not everybody's cup of tea.  But it is my cup of tea! :)

No way I'll wear shoes like those in the snow. :)

Ha, ha.  It wasn't supposed to snow throughout the night and when I looked out of my window in the morning the streets of Manhattan were without any trace of snow as we got only a light dusting.  BUT then when we got into the Central Park we realized we were doomed!  Oh well; at least no one had a slipping accident, which is what I was afraid of.

Harold - :D .  Actually it was early, very cold and snowing.  By the time we split up and went to work there were many runners, dog walkers and other photographers.

David & Charles - Thank you.

Adam -  Thank you.

All - Adam is a bit taller than Steve, and more than a bit taller than me.  He also seems as though he could bench press Malta, or at least Elba.

Ian - Thank you.  They make terrific films, almost every one excellent.

Yes, I was obviously thinking Fargo (and wondering who was going to end up in the wood chipper) but I guess Miller's Crossing might be more appropriate. :D

Graham - Thank you.

Ian - Thank you.  I too thought Adam looked a lot like Marge Gunderson's partner at the crime scene along the road.  Miller's Crossing is a too little known masterpiece, and the best gangster film I can think of.  Gabriel Byrne gets beaten up nine times, if I recall.

It looks like one of the camera's is an X1D?????

yep, Sharookh's X1D was a mere one-day old baby and he was brave enough to take it out in the snow :)   From what I can tell he really likes it :)
