epand56 Posted December 6, 2017 Share #21 Posted December 6, 2017 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Updated the firmware. My feedback: I've noted a relevant improvement in the pictures I take. That was the bug I really needed to fix. marchyman Posted December 7, 2017 Share #22 Posted December 7, 2017 Updated the firmware. My feedback: I've noted a relevant improvement in the pictures I take. That was the bug I really needed to fix. I hope that bug was also fixed with the updated 262 firmware

Peter Kilmister Posted December 13, 2017 Share #24 Posted December 13, 2017 I waited a while (just in case of bugs being found) and then did the update. Everything works well.

Hi, is this a unaddressed legacy from the previous firmware or something new?
Exodies Posted December 14, 2017 Share #28 Posted December 14, 2017 Someone found it on a M 262, in mid November. https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/278949-m262-hourglass-and-lock-up-problem/ I can reproduce it on my M240. It’s not like the traditional lock-up, you don’t need to remove the battery to get over it. Nobody else has reported it; as the sequence of operations to invoke it is not usual (shoot, play, zoom in - quickly and about ten times) I suppose people aren’t interested. bocaburger Posted December 15, 2017 Share #30 Posted December 15, 2017 I'll definitely never be buying either of the newly-supported lenses, and I only use flash in auto-thyristor mode thus the camera has no part in deciding the exposure. I haven't found any other bugs in mine, but if there are any which this fw fixes, I don't see why Leica would choose not to mention them. If Leica revises their description to specify other bug fixes then I might consider updating the fw. As there is always a remote possibilty of bricking a device updating fw, I don't do it unless I have a good reason to.
Paulus Posted December 17, 2017 Share #31 Posted December 17, 2017 I have installed 2.0.5.0. I wonder why Leica doesn't put the new lenses in "Manual lens selector " not enough space? It would be nice to see, that the 1,25 /75mm is in the new software.

At least that is what i thought when i realised that the new 28/5.6 is listed as well. To help owners of the original 28/5.6 perhaps. But why displaying the product number of the current 28/5.6 then, i have no idea.

All a little bit foggy isn't it?.
jdlaing Posted December 17, 2017 Share #34 Posted December 17, 2017 M Lenses produced with six bit codes from inception are not on the manual selection list. Lenses introduced prior to six bit code invention are on the manual selection list. The original Thambar, if I am not mistaken, was a thread mount lens and not a bayonet mount. Not foggy at all. bocaburger Posted December 18, 2017 Share #40 Posted December 18, 2017 The new one or the old one? Catalogue number is the new one. And as you pointed out for the Thambar, the original 28/5.6 was TTBOMK never manufactured in M mount.
