To all of us: If nothing else, isn't it wonderful to have a system like the CL or SL where you can use 100s, if not 1000s, of various lenses - from modern, optically 'perfect' to less 'perfect' but with drawing, charm and characteristics en masse! Wonderful times!

I posted a comparison shot between my CL with the TL 60 macro and my SL with the fancy S120 macro on the SL forum.  Both were working with the same tiny tree blooms.  Here's another angle, taken with the CL:

No. The S-lenses with the S-2-L adapter are NOT compatible with the CL. Note that this is consistent with the info on leica.com: That the SL accepts the electronic S and L lenses, the CL only the L lenses.

Jayne, this is such a sweet shot. So beautifully framed of a really gorgeous and professional model. ;)

Really a superb model you have there.

Thanks for your kind words Louis, I'm afraid my photography tends to get a little repetitive, my camera gets most use when there are grandchildren around.  We live in a very rural part of the country and I don't get out nearly enough, so from me its usually kids, sheep or dogs and the odd bad attempt at landscape.  Which is why your street shots, always so varied and interesting draw me in, plus so much to learn from this (especially) friendly knowledgeable forum, thanks again.

I found these guys clinging to the bottom of a lemon tree leaf, so another opportunity to use the 60 APO-Macro-Elmarit.

What lens did you use for the sun star? It flares terribly like my 23mm F2. However, I was using a standard B&W UV filter, so that might be the reason of the artifacts.

Color or B/W?

I usually prefer B/W photos, but due to the almost "monochromic" color(s) of this shot that, IMHO, gives an unusual atmosphere, I couldn't make my mind!
