Poppies with the Todden in the background.

Todden is thought to be old Cornish for ''Laying Ground''. It's a promontory that separates the two beaches. The main one being where the fishing boats are kept the smaller one being the swimming beach.

I liked how this looked like two different scenes. It’s a bus stop with a window in the side wall.

M-E at 2500 and J-3 at 1.5. What could be worse for tough forum crowds. Yet, is OK for me. Except it was more darker in real  :).

Trewavas Mine at Rinsey on the Lizard Peninsula.

The close one is the Old mine and the New Mine in the background.

There is an unsubstantiated story that there was to be the annual dinner for the owners and families and the workers and their families in the mine, under the sea. The tables were laid and everything ready when 2 men checking everything was correct noticed water coming from the ceiling. Needless to say they got out quickly and the mine was flooded but without loss of life.

Is that Cadgwith?  One of my favourite places in Cornwall.
