This thread is suffering from overposting by a few members; I have hidden some posts. It is a an unwritten convention that we leave space for other participants. My daily walk sees me start from here and go to the next beach / headland for a distance of 4km. It is a large Sydney beach and incorporates quite a large closed off shopping strip with alley ways and coffee shops etc - as well as large wharf and harbour beach on the other side...it has become a habit of mine to document something / someone(s) as I walk along...it is interesting to take in how the surf beach changes with tides and movement of water from lagoon as well as how people interact with this environment. A natural set-up for candid shooting...

Pictured below is the start of the walk with the end in the distance - my 'street'. Of course I am not alone in photographing here - people are drawn to the water and its activities. I often make a snap of other photographers making shots.

A little further along and another photographer. Unfortunately for him it was a no surf day.

M11 |28 and my own M9 derived B&W camera profile and 'film curve' preset on top. Whilst I own a new Q2Monocrom traded for my M9M - I find little difference between B&W conversion with high DR and MP cameras like the M11 and a monocrom - in daylight shooting conditions - different story for night time shooting - where it is chalk and cheese.

Thanks. These are M10R jpgs, for speed, since I didn't want to take time with the raw files. Some of the skies are very nearly completely blown out ☹️

Lady on the Street - I used Nik collection and Analogue Efex to add a look to this image. My favourite is Classic Camera 8 with a few things turned off and tweaked.
