This thread is suffering from overposting by a few members; I have hidden some posts. It is a an unwritten convention that we leave space for other participants. The reason is twofold: Overposting drowns out the other posts and, as important, if one floods a thread, the viewers lose interest and won't even look at those posts any more. Wow. I’m having a flashback. See those joints in the concrete by the steps? There was a terrific argument between the architect and the concrete contractor over those. Very nice capture.

I worked a construction claim on that building. It was delivered late and had some defects. The concrete joints were supposed to be neater than what you see there. If memory serves it’s on Lavaca and that Perfect Strangers is closed now.
