I took this last Sunday on my M2 with 28 Summicron. I've had a roll of Cinestill 800T in that camera for months, and wanted to finish it. It's a film that works OK-ish  in daylight, but it's very grainy, with weird colour shifts.

Not strictly a street photo, but it does have a person in it, candidly pictured - my mum, who is getting on a bit now, but still loves taking pictures on her phone.

I'm curious where the other Kelpie is, Colin. Have you skilfully hidden it in behind or is this a new Andy Scott piece?

Whichever, it's a lovely picture and it looks to me like it should be an album cover.  Using your mum for scale worked really well too.

Pete.

The displaced/homeless have become such a common sight we begin to see them as part of the urban landscape. Here a man fades into the bench becoming a part of a bus stop in Seattle.

Thank you very much, Pete. I took a similar shot on my Ricoh GR3, which worked out a little better, but didn't have my mum in it. If I'm very picky, I'd rather my mum had a little more space above her, and that the black line on the horse wasn't coming straight down to meet her.

The other kelpie is, as you guessed, hidden behind. You can see a tiny bit of it showing to the left of the 'spine'. Fortunately, we were there in the morning, and the light at that time strikes this sculpture in a way that shows the shadow relief. Later in the day, the sun moves round and hits this side view square on, making it look more two-dimensional.
