What film please?

That photo was made about twelve years ago. I don't have the negative to hand, but it was likely Ilford SFX200 shot at ISO 100 and developed in PMK Pyro.  Or, if I had the foresight to load for the weather that day, it would have been HP5+ at ISO 320, and developed in PMK.  Sorry, I can't do better than that right now. I looked through binders full of negatives and couldn't find that one.

This is one of several shots I took early last evening in Washington, DC.  It depicts a member of a group of homeless people camping in front of a church in a popular area  downtown and close to the White House.  Of course, I took permission to photograph her and with some difficulty we managed a kind of a friendly rapport; you see, she is speech challenged.  I learnt from her that she is visiting from California (showed me her Driver’s license).  It was nice to communicate with her and with whom I presume to be her father for a brief period.  I used Leica M10R with APO Summicron 50mm set at full aperture f2; the image is lightly cropped.  Please observe that resolution improves considerably when the shot is viewed on the light-box .  Regards.

This is the second shot with APO Summicron 50mm set at full aperture on Leica M10R.  The image is processed in Silver Efex and is lightly cropped.  In retrospect, perhaps the Noctilux f0.95 would have been the better lens.  The entire encounter with the group was friendly and pleasant.  Of course, resolution improves considerably when the shot is viewed on the light-box . Regards.
