Thanks! Any hints on any adjustments used in PP? I really like the slighty dark and dramatic look...

After I finished shooting this buffalo he took off away from me down the fence line. I watched not understanding what was happening. Then suddenly the animal made a 180 degree turn at a hole in the fence and I found him charging straight at me. About 5 others and myself were sprinting to our cars and I just escaped with about 50 meters to spare before that 1000kg  animal would have rammed my car. That one does not like certain photographers for sure. Later I found out what had really annoyed him. Another person had their camera set to beep at each capture and that high pitched sound ticked the buffalo off big time.

Thanks for asking about my PP.

Adjustments were a long time ago when I was using LR and SEFEX Pro. I use C1 now without SEFEX Pro and as such would process those differently with perhaps a softer hand. I will look back into my hard drives to see what I can find.

As I came from the world of B&W chemical photography I try to process a Monochrom  image as though it were shot with B&W film. Any color conversions to B&W I also try the same, but in a very different way due to the sliders. When I process a color image, I try to process it like I remember when shooting Kodachrome. I do not use presets as I believe each image deserves its own attention. But that is just me.

Thanks! It is the «inner glow in the blacks» or «fatty blacks» feeling I like… Could clarity have something to do with it…? Use LR and no SEFEX myself.

I tend not to use clarity on people much anymore-mostly on wood and stone.

I recognise that chippy! Best in Norwich by far, shame the Birdcage opposite shut as I used to enjoy eating my chips in there with a pint.
