It would appear that the pedestrians all cross in 1 direction & that the geese all go the other way.

Hi Michael,

Indeed, I did not pay attention to this myself when taking the picture, so thanks a lot for the observation. I can think of a possible reason: maybe the two groups were initially in opposite sides, and the fact that one of the groups crosses in one direction scares the other group off, forcing it to cross as well; so, are the humans scaring the geese or the geese scaring the humans ? I am not sure!

Best Regards,

Hello Xavier,

It is also possible that the geese work in different offices than the pedestrians do.

Best Regards,

Michael

In the Stedelijk, Amsterdam.

The sign behind these art lovers reads: TWIJFEL (DOUBT)

And at their feet it says 'RELUCTANT HUMAN S'

Well, I do expect this is a new way to approach art, if art is addressing the reluctant viewers here.

Otherwise . .

This couple is looking at that silly hole in the building where the escalator stops  and where you have to take a staircase to get to the museum first floor.

Well one big 'gaffe' of the new building of the Stedelijk is that the escalator does not reach the first floor. I stops halfway. I DOUBT. . . I doubt if the director of the museum ever noticed the architect had made a big mistake. And I expect there were a lot of reluctant staff not daring to say anything anymore about the pet project.
