I have compiled my Central Japan trip photos taken with the Q in my Exposure album.  Enjoy!  :)

Those are really wonderful and beautifully processed photographs. It reminds me of the only time I visited Japan, which was on business. It is the only place I ever visited where I realised that without a guide I would be incapable of understanding any signs or displays because of a totally different form of writing. I can usually get by in most northern European countries.

Great stuff.

I took a little walk to take some pictures of the coast but the haze was bad enough that I knew there would be no keepers.  I still took the opportunity to play.   This is the first time I've tried Exposure Bracketing on the Q and also the first time I've used Lightroom to put together bracketed (+/- 2 stops in this example) images.

The "hdr" version from Lightroom was better than I could get from the individual frames.   But I think I might have matched it with exposure compensation of +1.  Maybe.

Thanks, LouisB.  Japan is one of my favourite holiday destinations.  It has many beautiful places which some are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.  I enjoy the oishii Japanese food too.   :)

The old tour and leisure boat Huni II today in the snowy and chilly evening here in Akureyri Iceland.

The OIS came in handy here in the darkness as I could push the ISO down to 400 keep the aperture at 2,2 and the speed at 1/8 sec enabling me to make the image a little more lively with the trails of the falling snow.

This is beautiful boat, in a special photo. I like the mood given by the snow trails. Thanks for sharing.
