Proud fisherman. Having just caught a mackerel my son was literally bursting with excitement. SOOC jpeg.

 

 

 

Nice photo and very good technical picture quality. My Q makes me crazy for her bad ooc-jpeg quality. Which in-camera adjustments for contrast and saturation and EV do you prefer? In LR photos are much much better but I don´t like the workflow for every picture.

Usually I'm not a big fan of the jpg's out of my Q and will gladly admit that I use the RAW around 90% of the time (I have the camera set to DNG+JPG). But in this shot I really liked the overall colours and contrast and used the jpeg sooc. The camera is set to sRGB, contrast to medium low, saturation to standard and sharpness to standard.

The exposure came out great, showing many gradations in the wood and so forth. Exif says spot metered; do you recall where you metered (at -0.6 EV)?
