How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

I thought I'd try the night sky since I was up in the mountains where the light pollution is low - although there was a half moon behind me....  QP, 10 seconds, F3.5, ISO 800. The bright planet is Jupiter, and the red object is Antares, a red giant star about 700x the size of our sun.

Last images on my Q before getting my Q2 - the Q is still one hell of a camera!

From our "Staycation" in Atlanta (we live in the burbs) - it was a blast to stay in the city for 3 days of immersion, food, drinks, and photos!

Here are a couple from day 1 with the Q.  Love this thing.  I just bought it, "like new in box", it was lightly used, but I see that the counter reset when I went from V3 to V3.1

Love the colors, and the focal length.  It goes where I go.
