Hostess at a resort we recently visited on Cape Cod. She asked if I would take her photo after seeing me carrying the Q. I did and later post processed it in Portrait Pro Studio. I mainly used it to calm down her acne and some skin imperfections. I also added some contrast. I was a very cloudy day with nice light coming from her right. I though her a beautiful young woman and I enjoyed taking her photo.

this is one of your many terrific aesthetics. this one seems to involve post-processing with a film preset. I really like those faded skies combined with sharp and saturated foregrounds. quite striking. thanks!

 

Thanks for kind words and you are correct about the film preset! For post-processing I use DxO PhotoLab which has a nice 'old film' preset that often works especially nice (at least to my eyes) applied to images that have have a lot of sky, water, and clouds. Having said that I feel that most of the magic is really in the Q lens. I have had a camera for a while now and still can't believe how great that lens is.
