How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

Then and now. On the left a photo from 2008 taken on my Leica M8 with my Elmarit 24/2.8. On the right almost the exact same viewpoint but this time from today using my Leica Q. The only things that have changed are the season (spring left, autumn right) and the bus - now a London Transport new Routemaster.

Took the family to a Halloween event at the weekend and was v impressed with the Q's low light performance. High ISO was necessary and with some work in post, I thought the results weren't too bad. The event was a performance art show where you could walk through a series of live shows of local performers in full haloweeen regalia. V eerie, but v entertaining!
