My first Q photo. Really enjoying my first Leica.

We'll dang. The photo didn't upload. I downsized it to 400kB. I thought that would do it. Any suggestions for this newbie. Thanks.

I forget the exact specs... it's is something like less than 1280x960 in size AND less than 500 kB in file size.

Had some decent January weather for a walk around the lake....

 

Sometimes I feel a bit silly taking such a high end camera as the Q for such a "snapshot" role, but its just so responsive and easy to use, I'm always grabbing it on the way out the door

The sunrise is on Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs looking out my kitchen window. The staircase is at the Broadmoor resort which is also in Colorado Springs.

Beautiful.  I thought it might be.  I miss Colorado.  Used to visit Boulder and the neighborhood a lot a few years ago, though I confess we never made it to Colorado Springs - always said "next time"!  I had instant feeling of relaxation and 'this is how it should be' as soon as we drove out from Denver airport. Open sky and the quality of light is amazing!

 

I also loved the photo of the staircase.
