Finally I managed to upload the bigger file.

This photo shows a flower in the wind in the alps. Taken with the superb Macro feature of the Q.

Almost 3D! Curious to know... did you spot AF target the

really tiny tops of the stamens or manually focus same

or its the best out of a whole bunch of attempts?

Any EXIF data and/or lighting arrangement?

The answer I'm really hoping for is that the Q's spot AF

target acquisition focussing system is really this good:-)

Autofocus using spot 1/200 sec. f/2,8 (macro) I focussed on the tips and it "just works"

I took another shot at the the base of the tips and that focussed ok as well.

Only used 2 frames

This is the second shot, these are hand held.

I would need at least f/9 maybe f/11 to manual focus, same exif and crop.

Hope you will be as satisfied as I am when you get yours!

Don't know what plant this is my wife says it's a weed.

Woah... These are just STUNNING images. Congratulations to all... :)

Makes a bit of a mockery of those guys who pick holes in the design choices Leica have made in the development of this camera.

The results speak for themselves... and really, that's all that matters.

That series from Iceland blew me away... the lighting was exceptional, but the resulting photographs and the way the camera has allowed the photographer to capture that light is wonderful. And the example of the accuracy of the AF on the plant stamen should wipe out any discussion on autofocus on a camera of this quality.

Simply excellent... What an uplifting thread... :)

Finally got my hands on my Q yesterday and must say that I'm really impressed with the first shots even though I haven't had much time to get to know the camera yet. Here is one I shot in the evening sun here in North Iceland just before the rain and gloomy clouds engulfed this beautiful landscape.

That's a great image. The colour contrasts are superb.

I can only see a stamp size image even for the popped up image when I clicked on it. Is it only me? How can I see a larger one? Looks like a very interesting photo. Thanks for sharing.
