Beautiful!

Thank you very much Stuart! :)

Lovely shot!

Thank you very much! :)

Stunning! The foreground gives it a sense of perspective and balance as well.

Thank you very much Hardy, glad you enjoyed it :) I agree, without foreground it's just another photograph of Manarola, but the stone pointing towards the burgh makes the image to me :D

Thanks again, best

Great shot!  Question:  how did you include the rock formations in the foreground?  I’m heading there in a few months, and have been scouting that town online, and it appears there’s a steep cliff below the walking path at that point.

Any special tips?  Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much Charlie, glad you enjoyed it! :) There is indeed a cliff in front of the place, you need to know where to shoot from and how but it's (obviously) possible. Not easy though, and pretty impossible to explain with words without being on location, I am afraid.

What a stunner.  Love the rich colours you've bought out in the evening light.

The foreground adds so much.

Cheers...

Thank you very much indeed David, I am glad you enjoyed it! :) Yes, I think the foreground makes the shot here, making it a bit more personal compared with the usual Manarola shots you see by the millions online ;)

Best regards,

Vieri

Cap2 might have overlooked that you used the VC 15mm, which is at its best on the SL, more than on any M in my experience.
