Another from my first visit to Italy in March 1999. This was taken in Montepulciano (Tuscany/Toscana) using a Leica M6 with Tri-X film but I have no other details recorded. Looking at the image I would assume 50mm Summicron f2. Gerry

Going to the Monte dei Cappuccini in Turin, my town, to see the Christmas installation of famous artist Rebecca Horn. This is along the river Po from the Vittorio Emanuele I bridge. M + CV Ultron 21/1.8 Asph.

When we arrived there was a terrific storm, lightning every 20 seconds or so and torrential rain. Of course it suddenly stopped and the sun broke through.. M240 with 90mm APO Summicron, an exceptional lens which I have a love/hate relationship with as focussing can be tricky close up on a rangefinder, but for a landscape such as this its a marvel of technology© http://www.piranhaphotography.com
