Just had a nice couple of days on a little island, off the coast of Sweden, only a couple of hours drive and an hour's boat ride, extremely beautiful place and pretty much empty.

This is a stitch of 2 landscape images, one above the other of the hotel we stayed in.

One from the boat on the way in.

Late night doesn't really get dark, beautiful old house seemed even more perfect in this light.

Sailing over to an island the other day, even though it was hot for here, around 28 degrees, when we arrived for the boat, thick sea fog came rolling in and stayed for the day. Most people were complaining at not being able to see anything, I was super excited, love fog!

One from the island with the sun low in the sky illuminating everything, felt like a black and white scene.

I absolutely love the colours and your Daughter's slightly serious shadowy face in this one - fabulous!  Also hope she's ok and the plaster isn't the result of a fall.

Thank you! The picture is not arranged in any way. She hardly noticed me before I captured her. She's wearing a plaster because she has just been to the hospital and removed a mole that annoyed her.

Looking at your photos for some time now and I've figured it out -- you live in Fern Gully

Fascinating reference. Wasn't familiar with "FernGully: The Last Rainforest".  It made me chuckle featuring myself as a tiny fairy protecting the forest from the mean loggers, while carrying my trusty Leica for documentation. 😁
