Such rubbish weather here for weeks now, so jumped in the car Sunday and just headed North for a few days of exploring. Still terrible weather further North but at least a few breaks in the rain. Drove through some lovely remote villages with little old houses which are nice to capture.

M10 24 Elmar, sixteen years old and still photobombing, I was trying for the wildflowers but she kept getting in the way, so went with it in the end.

Walk along the field. Captured wide open as she walked quickly past me on the gravel road.

With the increase in Resolution I suggest the use of a tripod or monopod is needed to really get the advantage of the 40MP resolution. I have been checking the "online" images and frankly am not impressed. If the pics were really steadied I could make a decision. But right now my M240 on  a tripod is giving me top quality images.

We're making a "New Jerusalem" (again) -- extensive construction at the western entrance to the city.   All shots with M10-D and M 24-asph:

The Zionist Archive lies deep in the construction rubble, but they put some classic '30s "days of the pioneers" photos up on the construction fencing:

I love this one.  For this young lady, ony the Hebrew banana will do:

Very nice Scott! My grandparents put BG up in their house when he was on a fundraising trip to Philadelphia just after the war--at least that is family lore passed down.....

my first very quick shot with a new (to me, via Tailwagger) M10 and a new (to me, via Miami Leica in exchange for my Q and R 80-200) M50 f/1.4 ASPH. There's a lot I need to learn about both pieces of equipment, but since our wonderful middle son and his equally wonderful wife are coming to visit for a month, I lose my darkroom (aka, the kids' bathroom), and have plenty of time for digital. Not great composition, but just jaw-dropping what OOC Leica can look like.
