Sony NEX6 + Summaron 35/2.8 (1961) Thanks for chipping in @pippy, I didn't do so as I feared the wrath of taking the thread sideways (but can now hide behind you😂). Yes, @pegelli, it is a fine place to be if you have a camera and are looking to take images, including the overhead footbridge which is quite wonderful on a clear day as the sun sets, so all in all, I'm very pleased it moved you to dig out some images. And while I was there again only three weeks ago, an action film was being filmed in the docks, speedboats racing back and forth. Yeah, a long search (unless you are prepared to part with a kidney to have one immediately) that finally came to fruition a few months ago. Bonus: the copy I was able to acquire is a rare uncoated one. Downside: because it's uncoated, it flares a lot and really needs attention when dealing with the scene's light. 11 minutes ago, Erato said: ILFORD PANF PLUS, ISO 50, Topcor 5cm, M4 Great contrast and tones. farnz Posted December 31, 2022 Author Share #10138 Posted December 31, 2022 I was looking back through this thread, as I do from time to time to extract a second 'hit' from the wonderful pictures here, only to find that my post memorialising the thread's 10,000th post and thanking everyone for their kind participation and contributions has inexplicably moved to post #9991 on page #500, which is a little 'previous' and disappointing. I assume that this is a result of some indexing algorithm but it means that if anyone, as I have, has recorded the post numbers of particular posts they wish to return to in the future will probably not be able to locate them, which is infuriating. Doubtless all for the sake of "progress" or is my 'cynicism slip' showing? Has anyone noticed this happening elsewhere on the forum? Pete. 1

As a matter of fact, we don't care how they control this forum. We do care the visibility of classic lenses, which are outstanding and reference-worthy for everyone here. A remarkable lens is simply outstanding and it's hard to ignore even a series of sophisticated algorithm might take place indeed. Perhaps some posts were deleted for whatever reason and the whole thread sequence got re-indexed? Only conjecture. M10M + 1961 Nikkor SC 85/1.5 LTM @ f/2.8 Welcome, dear visitor!
