Purely for curiosity, would you mind very kindly posting the original if you still have access to it please, Ecar?  (I'll fully understand if you'd prefer not to of course.)

Pete.

Not a problem, Pete. Here you go. Straight ooc (with my customary -0.7 EV compensation for the M10M), only converted to jpeg for the forum. Note that I usually reduce LR default sharpening, as in the previous picture, while this one has LR default settings.

Edit: now that I look at it, contrast is actually not that bad (at least comparing the two compressed images). It's just that I like high-contrast BW...😇

I'll try and post some colour pictures when I can.

Thank you, Ecar, that's very kind of you.  I agree, it's not too bad for contrast, particularly since the lens was 'born' in 1937, (but I share your enjoyment of high-contrast in certain pictures.^_^)

Pete.

Do you have any portraits with it ? close range ideally?

None that I can post I'm afraid, but I can offer some flare instead 😉

Incidentally, I remember taking the second one, as a young kid ran by me yelling "Traaainssspoottteer!"😄

Again, M10M + 1955 Nikkor 25/4 LTM, both wide open

Not particularly creative, but here they are:

M10P ASC + converted 1937 Meyer Goerlitz Primoplan 58/1.9, wide open. First at RF MFD (~70cm), second at MFD (~35cm, with EVF). Only applied a slight "S" curve to enhance contrast a bit.

Fallen apples - or yet another neirdy comparison...

Two TH Cooke Speed Panchro 75/2 lenses - both converted to M and coupled - on the M10P ASC, wide open and handheld. First with a 1941 "War Finish" Ser. I, second with a Ser. II from the early 60s.
