Hektor 50mm 2.5 on my A7rii. The focus is not extremely accurate with my M9-P, so I tried the Sony. The lens seems to be semi-sharp when you can use focus peeking. I actually quite like the bokeh as well!

Lazy winter shot through the window but it wouldn't get better outside, just colder 😉 The achromatic doublet has and shows it's limitations and the converter is not that bad at all - time to play around and have fun with that old stuff.

What do you mean with: "The lens seems to be semi-sharp when you can use focus peeking"? The picture of the cat is excellently sharp. The sharpness area of the picture with the boy could have been somewhat nearer to the camera.

To my eyes (or my exampel of the lens) the Hektor is sharp but lacks the resolution of the Elmar although Berek claims it superior in correction when stopped down. So the Hektor is good for portrait, you wouldn't hear any claims about "lens too sharp", it has a pleasant look.
