35mm Summilux pre-ASPH m10p, this and 80mm summilux (better than 75lux) are two my favorite old Leica glasses.

M10-P with Nikkor P 10.5/2.5.  I don't take this one out too often, it's big, heavy and has a long focus throw.  But does produce some nice images!

Why do you feel the 80 Summilux is superior for you to the 75 Summiliux?

It(80) has less vignette, slightly more SA but also smoother bokeh. I didn't test, but I bet it will be able to cover big image cycle than 75lux as well. The difference is small for ordinary observer but very noticeable for me. I have both, I would sell 75 if I don't have M system.

For simple sharpness, smoother bokeh, most modern 85mm lens will beat them. 80lux is simply having more character IMO.

For me it is the other way around. I found the 80 a bit softer than my (third) 75 and sold it. I have the impression that for both these lenses it is important which copy you have.
