As the originator of this thread I'd like to take this opportunity to  say a huge thank you to all of the contributors and mark this thread's 3,000th reply by posting the picture that I started the thread with back in August 2012.  I never thought for a moment that the thread would still be going strong for so long or that you would all so kindly share, give or take, 3,000 of your wonderful pictures.  Thank you again and please keep posting.

 

As a gentle reminder of the 'rules' for this thread: There's no restriction on the type of lens except that it should not be the current model, no restriction on the camera used (forum rules apply of course so either the lens or the camera or both must be made by Leica), no restriction on content, and it's okay if they've been posted on the forum previously. Please name the camera and lens and post away!

Posted this is "I like film" also. Again, Leica IIIA and 2.5, 50mm Hektor LTM. Film is Kentmere 400 this time.

Wow, JM, well done!  They're as rare as it gets, especially in mint condition.  I am envious.  :)

Indeed , I'm extatic, was a great find actually, Will have to have the grease changed as the helicoid is stiff.
