Hello everybody,

Having just discovered this thread I was most intrigued. It inspired me to contribute with a couple of my own "old glass snaps", a railway theme, all developed in LR. No need really to buy new expensive glass when the old lenses still produce like this. This is my first ever post in this forum so hopefully I'll do it right.

Regards

ernst

This thread now been running for 1 year! More than 1600 posts filled with wonderful pictures from a massive range of older glass is quite simply amazing, interesting, and satisfying. Thank you to everyone who has very kindly contributed by making the effort to graciously posting their pictures, and to those who have taken the time to view the thread and its pictures. This thread has taught me so much about the value and performance of older lenses.

Please continue to post your wonderful pictures!:)

Many thanks,

Pete.

Sorry guys. Been away to Alaska in the passed few weeks. Only took S2 and 2 lenses this time as its a family vacation. I will post those photos shortly but let's share a few shots I did over this weekend with this very same lens I took to Alaska.

These were all taken on my M2. The first with my 90mm Elmar and

the other two with my 35mm Summaron.

Is HP5 a very grainy film stock or is it me just not being used to film yet?;):)
