Wow - the second and third frame could be the scene for a science fiction movie, playing on a far, far away planet - love the colours!

thankyou!

as a matter of fact: more than a few science fiction films have been filmed around this location (near Coober Pedy South Australia)- including Mad Max and Pitch Black.

I am curing my New Year's Eve hangover today (NYD) by taking some sedentary pics. :D

Maybe I should have just taken a sedative!

This one stayed still while I shot it, fotunately.

Leica 111f + Summitar 50/2.0 set at about f4.

Ilford FP4+, dev'd in XTOL.

Sepia tone done on Silver Efex pro.

Old camera, old glass, old chair, old hat and old photograper. Consistency!

This one stayed still for me as well, fortunately!

Same details as for the first pic.

Both images delivered beautifully sharp and clear A4 prints.

I am very pleased with my new camera combo.

Same combo as in previous photo (canon ltm 28mm f/2.8 from 1957 - MP - Tri-X)

Met this amazing man at Plaza Reial in Barcelona, and talked with him for almost an hour. His name is Josep Colomer, "el dels cromos".. and according to him, he is the only unique person in the world, and he knows everything. He did actually show a lot of knowledge about history and has a great conversation. He told me stories about the spanish civil war and many other stuff. He said, for example, that people thinks that in a city bombing, the bombs fall vertically, but they actually go diagonally, which is much more devastating. He is a f.c.barcelona lover and sells old stuff on sundays at that centric square in Barcelona. A lovely man.

I'm very happy to see this thread continues!

This is not really an amazing image. I was a bit bored at work the other day and happened to have my II with me fitted with my 9cm Elmar from 1934. I was inspired by Andym911 who's recently been on the hunt for a 9cm Elmar.

Shot on Fuji Super SR (desaturated and slightly sharpened) through an office window. The distance "as the crow flies" is just over a kilometre I believe. It is a 100% crop from this photo.
