My Father has Mp ala carte Which has Ostrich Style Leatherette, Leica Config says Ostrich Style Chesnut when you go on the website, I am sure its not a ostrich Leather, However question is, This ala carte Body Trims are Real Leathers at all? Leather is a natural product and as such there may be slight variations in colour and texture. These characteristics underline the genuine nature and quality of leather. That doesn't mean your father's is, as it depends on when he had it made. Things change, and NB23's is plastic, so there is variation.
