Wenn ich diese Bilder sehe, trauere ich immer noch meinem DMR hinterher und überlege, ob es nicht besser gewesen wäre, es zu behalten. Die Bildergebnisse sprechen ja für sich.

Does anyone still uses Flexcolor to work on their DMR images?  This pictures was edited in photoshop... Actually it only used photoshop to crop and a very little adjustment on the exposure but everything else is as it came out from the DMR .  This is in Downtown Dallas, Texas.

Hi Isaacmm, Nice photos from your DMR. I love the colors from that old sensor and from Leica R glass!

I have Flexcolor v4.8.9 installed on my PC, yet I prefer to use Lightroom (LR) to edit my DMR camera images with many more edit options.

Cheers

OK, this may be a double post, as I have just put this image on the APO R lens thread.

My favourite all time lens - the 180/2 APO Summicron-R on my trusty R9/DMR

Wish me luck, but I have just splashed what seems to be a vast amount of money on a complete R9/DMR/35-70 lens combination from a Japanese ebayer. As I winced when I handed the bunce over, I reflected that the £3.9k + duty from Japan is still less than a used M11 but  a lot more than a nice M8. DMR's and R9's will always increase: the internet believes there are only 2,200 assembled. Compare with M8 production.

DMR only price $5995 in 2005 ($9116 equivalent today, nearly a new M11 price). I cannot wait to try it: "a thing of beauty and a joy for ever" (Keats). Of course paying £3.9k today is the same as paying £2k in 2005.

Advice on batteries appreciated: was there ever an A/C adapter made?

I would recommend, that when you get it, charge the batteries and test shoot how many pictures each can do. It may involve taking photos, and when the battery blinks, take it out and insert again (may by miracle be back at full), and then label each battery with how many actuations each can do. I did that with all my batteries (four for two cameras) after I found a "brand new in box" battery a year or two ago.

Cleaning contacts in camera and on batteries is a good idea if any errors or just in general: Basically all that is brass and contacts anywhere on the camera.

Some years ago Michael Bass Designs supplied me with Quantum battery adapter and attenuator for my DMR and also fitted new cells to my original DMR batteries. He offered several DMR power supply options.
