Ah, thanks for posting this photo, Rob.  I grew up body surfing those waves in Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood.  Brings back great, fun memories, although I see the water has gotten a little dirtier in the past 45 years.  Last time I went in that water I was assaulted by what I initially thought was a jellyfish.  I was relieved (but also horrified) to realize it was just a used condom!

Yes, this was at Hollywood beach, Tim.  A corona virus escape!

A few more photos (and hope they're not re-posts).

On this side the Ocean, riders are allowed after hours on wet sand only. She wanted her photos taken such that the horse owner would witness the horse having been trained to get into the sea.

Hollywood Beach has changed.  When I was a teenager (1968-1972) Hollywood was a gay nude beach so we didn't venture down there very often except during lobster season.  Great access to the second reef from there.  We could swim out, get our limit and swim back.

The beach huts of Mudeford Spit

These Beach Huts are the only ones in the locality that allow (legal) overnight sleeping. They are snapped-up for around £250k a hut.
