This might look like a photograph from the 1970s but I took it less than a couple of weeks ago using an expired (circa 2006) roll of Velvia 100. I miss the Island, I grew up across the Solent. I think the IOW has something '1970s' about it, whatever the medium. Maroubra Beach, Sydney M7, Portra 400, 1.4/35 Summilux ASPH F1030023.jpg Funny I'd tagged your shot (before I read your subsequent reply on the same topic) because the shadows of the lamposts are Maroubra to me. What I was aiming for in the first shot above. I'm amazed we don't cross paths more often since we clearly are crossing paths! Thx ! Indeed, a happy accident I should experiment with now futebol de praia by JM__, on Flickr The subject just works so well with the accidental yellow, awesome mistake! I too have left the yellow filter attached but on M9 with far less interesting results. Another Maroubra icon!
