What cheering pictures! Sun and sea and leisure.

 

I would be interested to know something of your methods for photographing in salty, sandy environments. Not changing lenses I take as a given. Digital cameras have some advantages in these situations, but I like film. Do you change film (M-A users? Adam...) of just expose one roll before retiring to a café or hotel. 

 

Many years ago I noticed a certain grittiness in the lens focusing after a trip to the beach. It was probably before I owned a Leica, but it is a feeling one never forgets.

Thanks a lot

I have mucked up my camera and lens on the beach (incl my 35 lux fle, which I had to have CLA'd).  But try to be as careful as possible
