tappan Posted December 6, 2015 Share #1 Posted December 6, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) My M9-p arrived at Leica NJ (USA) on July 3rd. That was the day that I was told I needed to have my M9-p to them. The latest update is that they are waiting for Germany to give them more sensors, and that wait will be extending into the new year.Ridiculous. They couldn't even tell me if Germany was going to supply them with the newer type sensor or the problem sensor. Mark Garfinkel

tappan Posted December 10, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted December 10, 2015 UPDATE: I got the camera back home today. It has been cleaned, calibrated, and has a new sensor. WHAT a surprise, as I had just received word 5 days ago that it would be January, at the earliest. I wish, however, that they would have told me if they replaced the sensor with the newer type. TomB_tx Posted December 10, 2015 Share #5 Posted December 10, 2015 If the firmware rev is 1.204 it is the new sensor. If 1.202 - the original version.
