I thought it was about time I used my 16,18,21 WATE again on my M246. Not too sure about my processing as its ok on my monitor but very bright on my MacBook!

Looks overexposed or you pulled too much out of the shadows.  Lots of details in the shadows, and the shadows from the trees in the foreground are faint.  Unrelated to exposure but do you recall the focal length you used?

I was using 16mm. It didn’t look so bright on my monitor but it’s set up for printing so maybe I need to change that for when I’m doing photos for the web, maybe?

Almost as if the gentleman’s about to say “you looking at my bird?” to which you’d say “no”, to which he’d aggressively say “why not?”

Not at all.  I can only assume that things must be very different where you live and, if so, you have my sympathies.

Pete.

Some pictures with the Laowa 9mm from last October on the M10M. I've had very wide angle lenses since the 60's. I still have the Hologon I bought in 1973, and now have the WATE (from the M8 promotion when it came out), the 21 Summilux, the 21 SE, the 21 f/2.8 ASPH, the 15/4.5 CV from it's introduction in the 90's, similarly the 12/5.6 and more recently the 10/5.6, which will have to go as the Laowa 9mm is much better.

This is only cropped in the vertical.

I rarely put people in super wide angle shots, but I left this one.

This has verticals corrected but is otherwise the full frame.

This one doesn't.

Here are two, shot indoors with the WATE on M10-P. Shot at 16mm, not a lens I use often, but will do so more. It's hard hard with people! Unless you get them smack in the middle of the frame.
