I'm not over keen on the look of SWA lenses. Given the constraints of the subject I'll typically use the longest focal length possible. That said and for my interiors work I'll invariably use my 21mm

My favorite UWA M lens is the Super Elmar 18mm.

Here is a photo of Saugatuck Dunes and Lake Michigan in Winter 2020, using an M6, a 21 SEM and Kodak Portra 160. The 21 SEM is an astonishing lens. Every time I shoot with it I am surprised at its sharpness, color and clarity.

It is interesting that of the 3 newest WA lenses, namely 18 Elmar, 21 SEM and 24 Elmar, only the 21 will remain in production. An extraordinary bit of technology.

CL 11-16 Tokina at about 14mm, not a Leica lens but an excellent WA, learning to use it with manual focus, the focus distances are off.

M9M; '59 21mm f4 Super-Angulon; Leitz Orange Filter; 1/125 f8 @ ISO 320.

Strangely enough the inherent vignetting of the ancient non retrofocus lens on a digi-body actually helps here...

Image is effectively sooc.
