A simple portrait of a girl who works with me in the same firm.

Still not fully used to the SL, my bad as i use it too little, but I do like the results.

SL with Sonnar C

This was the friendliest Cane Corso that I had ever met. Although I love mastiff breeds, I usually do not approach other people’s dogs.

Technical Exercise: Leica SL 601 / Yashica 1000mm f11 Mirror Lens experiment 15 July 2021.  Pigeon on All Saints Church Stamford photographed from a distance of 30m (estimated).  Donuts not too distracting; eBay sourced lens purchased April 2021. Actual main quarry was a Peregrine Falcon ... 45m up the church steeple ... but limitations of 'too short tripod' prevented comfortable viewing/composition when tried to focus camera/lens at required 11 o'clock angle. Thus settled for a pigeon ... which proves the lens has some potential.  Plan to try again for the Peregrines using a sturdier tripod.

... too difficult shot with a too short tripod as could not comfortably place my eye at the viewfinder when lens angled at 11 o'clock position. Plan to try again with a longer / sturdier tripod.  The 45m distance from pavement camera position was measured using a Leica laser rangefinder.

BW, dunk
