Perhaps I am limited to uploading images as an infrequent poster... sharing a few links to initial learning images with the Leica SL.

From a recent trip to NYC where I took only the Elmarit-M 28 (pre-asph)... shots through the hotel window:

Night

& Day

And two photographs of a beautiful crescent moon from eastern Long Island, also the Elmarit-M 28, handheld.

That' s right. As i think by now this car ( or a similar one) could be the next one to get me to the landscape locations- very deep into the landscape ....

Some fun with a "different" lens. Possibly should have posted it in the Vintage Lens thread.

SL with Hasselblad C140-280 both shot are max aperture, late afternoon.

I would consider a camper van. Sleeping on location let you never be too late for sunrise... 😉

Great pictures Rob. What focus setting did you use, AFS or AFC.

Thanks, Graham.

They were lucky captures. I was switching between AFS and AFC. I think that they were AFS at the time. ISO was 50 and shutter ranged from 1/3200 to 1/16000.

Just missed the one below.
