An outsider in winter - color and b&w - with SL and 24/90. Which are captured

behind the fence - the outsider or the others ?

First couple of shots with the new to me SL. Still feeling my way.

One thing I have yet to fathom is how to set the lens details in the menu. No AF lenses.

Took a couple with the 7 Artisans, but it's a dead duck for me, unless it can be "changed".

Took some with the R lenses I have, 24, 50, and 90.

These two with the 7 Artisans 50mm at about 1.4, and the Summicron R 90mm at about f8.

Minimal playing in LR.

Gary

Thanks Rob, it's certainly like going back to school. My other "SL" is not like this. :D

I suspect the info is only transferred via the M-Adapter-T, when for example I use the 7 Artisans. It "knew" it was a Noctilux, and I just said yes.

For my R lenses though, I dug into the menu, and selected the appropriate lens, 24mm Elmarit R, 50mm Summicron R, 90mm Summicron R, as applicable. But with a "dumb" adapter, it seems no info is transferred, at least in CS6 I cannot find it.

Not sure if I am ready to spring for the R-Adapter-SL, yet.

Fun times though.

Gary
