I was referring to just those photos and lenses as well. I can’t draw conclusions on rendering from those photos. I own two of the lenses and those photos don’t tell me much. They’re too different to compare in my opinion.

I think your opinion is right. The pictures posted are dull and flat and tell us nothing about anything. The subject matter and the leery comments that they've generated also smack of something I'd expect Donald Trump to post. Classy.

So how do you suggest that pictures should be taken to meet your expectation?

You may yet regret having asked GeeTee that question . . .  :)

Imo sillbeers15 pictures are very well executed. Good location, nice light, and most likely a fine atmosphere between the girl and the photographer.

I have seen many photos that were taken with those lenses and can very well recognize some of the lens qualities that I like and not so much like in the posted pictures.

Just because you cannot see it, the others are not all Donalds.

Leica is known for that dull and flat look. So it’s not your fault. Great job BTW. Thanks for posting. LD_50 is right that one cannot draw any conclusions about how the 75 Noctilux differs from the other lenses you used. But surely yours and Jono’s pictures are very much appreciated.

The comments are getting personal and impertinent so the 75 Noctilux is making some people very nervous. It reminds me of the reactions to the 50 Summilux-SL. I might buy the 75 Noctilux. The price is ridiculous but I figure it’ll be so rare that in ten years’ time it should be worth more.

Lighten up, geetee.  Do you not see humor in anything?  I meant no disrespect to the young lady.  My comments were a way of expressing my impression of the lens and my desire to own one; nothing more.

.... I think you might be waiting 10 years for one......

If Leica themselves state that availability will be low then anyone over middle age should obtain medical advice that they will actually live long enough to take receipt of a copy  .....
