Finally the M 75mm Noctilux is officially released by Leica.

 

Now I can openly share the shot below taken 2 months ago with the pre-production lens on the SL below at F1.25:

The 90-280 is 'magical'.

 

 

How true it is !!!

 

Just got mine, and here are my first trials, taken from my garden.

 

1) 280 mm

 

2) 90 mm

 

3) 90 mm

 

4) 280 mm, cropped around 100% !!!

 

I am really impressed how tolerant to crop is the combination of the SL with this marvel of telezoom !!!

Just missing an extender, and I will sell all the Canon gear i use for wildlife !

The M75Noc is a fabulous lens with a identical character to the M50lux. I had the chance to take the same subject and location with the SL50LUX. The results were different in effect. The SL50LUX had very clinically good control to produce a realistic yet pleasing picture while the M75Noc produced a dramatic effect and the purple fringing effect identical to my M50LUX 0.95.
