Its been a long time i’ve had this lens in my mind. But i ahve to collect the m 35 and 50 lux as top priority and then 90-280. And i’m already looking ahead for 90-280 currently =) just waiting for a lady fortune to visit my bank [emoji16]. The size is never a concern for me as i have used canon 400mm f5.6. I think this similiar size. And i never complaint about it. As the quality on SL with 400mm f5.6 is stunning, i’m looking forward to 90-280 it will be mind blowing

Bank accounts and Lady Fortune can always get in the way!  I was also considering the SL 50 summilux, but decided to make this the first option. I'll look forward to seeing your photos with any and all of these terrific choices.

SL with Noctilux Hamburg Harbour

attachicon.gif20171125-l1050377.jpg

just to explain this photo:

A friend of mine was taking a picture with his camera against the setting sun, the reflection you see is the reflection of the graduated filter in front of his kamera.

As i was using f1.0 with the Noctilux the focus was near by infinity and of course i am loosing the sharpness near by me (about 1m distance).

As you see it here shooting in the same direction:

I enjoyed the mix of reflection and the otherwise deep blue colours, without realising how it was made... Now with the mystery solved, the image remains mysterious and visually attractive (which is not always the case; sometimes the unexplained is an important part of the image). As a side note; I would possibly have lighten the corners a little, but that's only me  ;) .
