Walking through Austin Street, Stamford, Lincs., UK this morning, the Austin House door's symmetry caught my eye.

The buildings photographed are visible in this image 6 miles distant

May have used a 1.4x APO extender with the lens but will have to check. Inspired by Andreas Feininger's 1942 Manhattan compressed perceptive images.

Something a bit different.  I use an M Type 2 50/2 (Rigid) on my monochrom V1.  Thought I would try it on the SL.  Shot is at f5.6.  Anyway, I love this lens which a good deal older than I am - but I think it will continue to spend most of its life on the Monochrom, where is can be pretty magical.

And converted to b&w.  Played around with the settings in lightroom - contrast, blacks and whites etc.  Think I might have over done it a bit!

This is pretty astonishing. Not just down to the performance of the lens, but the fact that you have managed to penetrate the atmosphere which is normally a bigger impediment to this sort of shot.
