Sorry, should have said inverted.  Actually, I think the different angles in the two shots are strictly due to camera positions.

Very much so. My camera position was many thousands of km from yours, on a curved trajectory.

But we do have (very long established) points of reference that helps us make sense of where we are at any point in time and this sense of direction, up/down, etc. is so deeply ingrained (either pre-dating or contemporaneous with the discovery of land in the southern hemisphere) that I'm not sure that there is any value in imagining the earth in any other orientation. Presumably a New Zealand weather forecast shows the North Island above the South Island?  This reminds me of an interesting paper that I once read about why a mirror reverses left/right rather than up/down and I suspect (without thinking it through much) that similar issues are at play here.

How can I fix the Marumi macro DHG +5 lens on my SL 24-90 vario lens?

I can not find any adapter...

The 24-90 has a 82mm filter thread so if you have a 82mm Marumi filter you will be able to screw it onto the lens.  If your Marumi filter has a different size diameter you will need to use a step-up or step-down ring depending on the diameter of your filter.

If you have a 77mm diameter Marumi you'll need a 77mm to 82mm stepping ring e.g. http://srb-photographic.co.uk/82mm-to-77mm-step-ring-2661-p.asp

Why is the pencil sharpened to such a long drawn-out point (as seen in the earlier shot) for lettering?  And are the ultra pointy pencils used for other purposes as well?
