MarkP Posted October 24, 2015 Author Share #63 Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) I would have added fill-flash. ...but I did. The searchlight on the helicopter wasn't strong enough ;-) Edited October 24, 2015 by MarkP
MarkP Posted October 24, 2015 Author Share #64 Posted October 24, 2015 Both beautiful photographs Dee. Again, that tonal range in the sky over the Snowies. I love that photo of Lake Eucumbene with the skeletal remains of the trees and those amazing colors!

MarkP Posted October 24, 2015 Author Share #77 Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) Thanks for posting these Les. The landscape around Falls Creek is spectacular. Unfortunately I haven't been there since 1989, and my photos were taken with my F3/T on Kodachrome! ps they're all a bit small. You should be able to resize with the width set to a maximum 1280 (actually I just realised mine are undersized as I'd been setting the height to 1280 . Les_Sismore Posted October 24, 2015 Share #78 Posted October 24, 2015 Thanks Mark. Screen image size is determined by pixels/cm, longest side length (1280 pixels) and file size limit (500k). What pixels/cm do you use so as to retain the image within these limits? Cheers, L
MarkP Posted October 24, 2015 Author Share #79 Posted October 24, 2015 I'm a paid up premium member so have 1MB file limit per post. Have always set longest edge to 1280 pixels and resolution to 300pixels/inch or 118 pixels/cm - probably overkill for internet but I've never had problems)
