They may be in Germany, but they are not based in Berlin, Neil.

its the only one I'm comfortable spelling. The real one it Wartzal or something like that but it's not that important. If your sending something back to Germany then it's still Germany..... I think

I presume you rely on your dealer to fill out the shipping label.   :o

Do you want your camera to get lost? Cause this is how you get your camera to get lost.

Because my mate in Holland dropped it off for me while he was visiting the queen................its great how things can come together when crossing the mighty African contestant :)

Err... we have a king... He is married, though ;) But then, you are probably confusing skirts and kilts :p

In Sept. this year I had the broken AF issue with my 35mm CS. It took 3 weeks to get it repaired. Same issue now with my 45mm. I gave it back to my dealer 2 weeks ago (on a saturday) and could get it back 2 days ago, less that 2 weeks waiting time. I think this is a very acceptable repair time. Seems that Leica has seriously improved their after sales service, here in EU at least. Hope that other 'satisfied' EU users are experiencing the same and that US is on its way !
