Grey and cold day at Storm King (large outdoor sculpture collection). S(006), 24 Super Elmar.

Not a sculpture, but a nice tree. I should have gotten lower to give it more sky. Alas.

You can see the scale here. There are three people by the sculpture in the distance.

Beautiful! Top of Rockefeller Center? Can you use a tripod up there?

Thanks :) Top of the Rock is my favourite spot for Skyline shots in NYC.

Tripods are not allowed, but I did buy a Gorillapod for the S.

I have the small one for my M9, which I bought dirt cheap on a flea market ... may even be a fake one, but is ultra light and small. The one used here though is the bigger version which has a pretty nice ball-head included and works well with the weight of the S.

The image attached kind of shows the way I attached it to the fence - and was obviously not shot with the S but with my beloved M9 and 35mm Summilux Asph  :)

djmay, you need to choose 'image' and enter the URL of the image - it seems that Leica Fotopark strip image file names so you are unable to embed images held there in this forum....

john

When selected "image" and the link, I received the following message.

"You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community."

I guess I have to load the image file directly.

Yes, there is no image suffix (jpg, png etc) so the HTML cannot cope
