How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2480 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “c

I don't own a Leica M anymore, but to keep my friends happy who called me a hipster for having a M8/M9/M9-P/M240 etc. I now write my letters with a late 1970's typewriter on the nice heavy stationary "Laid Paper" by "Original Crown Mill" from Belgium.

 

Me happy, they happy, meanwhile I can shoot the Leica S (which is not hipster according to them).

Here I am as well, weighing up whether to buy a second hand S with 70 Summarit and this just about seals the deal!

This is such an interesting result. The files from ther 006 look a lot more like film than anything else I've ever used apart from film. They aren't as sharp or as contrasty as the SL/50SL but I love because of that.
